Known Limitations

• The simulator reflects behavior of current IOS XE/CUBE SIP Profile logic and is not intended to emulate arbitrary historical releases.

• There is no option to pin simulation to a specific IOS XE maintenance version; validate version-specific behavior in a lab.

• Some accepted syntax may not be supported by the IOS/IOS XE version running on your production gateway.

• Simulation output is advisory only; interactions with full production dial plans, security policies, and scale conditions are not fully reproduced.

• Incorrect or overly broad regex patterns can pass simulation but fail on edge cases; test boundary scenarios before deployment.
